The learning curve is huge, but it isn’t rocket science. With some practice and a few hours of dedication, you will get the hang of the controls soon enough. But understanding a few strategies, generally when it comes to taking control of the ball, is important. The hitbox in terms of getting possession of the ball is in a limited space, wherein you will have to get as close to the ball in order to stop it.

There are multiple ways through which you can get the ball, including long or short passes, wall rebounds, and interceptions. While you do not need to tap any button to control the ball, doing so will increase the likelihood of you getting hold of it. Let us look at some ways through which you can control the ball.

Interception is the case of stealing the ball from the opponent by diving, tackling, or using the defensive stance. While you can rid the opponents of possession, you will need to be quick to gain control of the ball immediately after. You need to choose your move wisely at the right time to make sure the opponent does not dribble past.
