One of the best ways to dribble in Rematch is by performing the rainbow flick. While this is great to perform, you would feel differently when the opponents are the ones performing the trick on you. There is, however, a way to counter the rainbow flick.

Counter the Rainbow Flick in Rematch
Rainbow flicks work best against players who rush towards them, as it works against the momentum. Holding your ground and being steady in your place helps you be in control and read the opponent’s next move. Holding the ‘L2’ or ‘LB’ button puts you in the defense stance to snatch the ball from them at the right opportunity.
If, however, you need to run towards the enemy, prompting them to do the rainbow flick, there is a simple counter. Once you approach close enough, reduce your speed and be ready to run back in the opposite direction. When they perform the rainbow flick, quickly run back, and you will be able to get control of the ball before they do.
From here, you can either pass the ball to your teammate or clear it. You could choose to intercept the move by pressing ‘Triangle’ or ‘Y’ to jockey, or ‘Square’ or ‘X’ to lob a pass.
Rainbow flicks are usually performed by players in the lower ranks. This move works best when the opponents rush without thinking. Players in high ranks usually stay steady on their ground and mark players. Once you begin to stop rushing, the rainbow flicks become one of the easier moves to disengage.
