Rematch: Patch #2 – 1.200.200 Explained

The second official patch is soon to make its way to Rematch, featuring a variety of major and minor bug fixes.

Sloclap has finally announced a tentative release date for their second major patch in Rematch. The Patch £2 – 1.200.200 will be released on August 18th, 2025, and along with it brings a list of both major and minor fixes across various categories. Patch 2 was released on the Rematch Beta App for a short duration to get some valuable feedback from the players.

In this article, we will be taking a look at the Patch #2 – 1.200.200 in Rematch and the fixes that will be included in it.

Matches and Gameplay Improvements

Major Fixes

Tackle Improvements
  1. Improved network resolution and rollback on tackles
  2. Fixed an issue where, sometimes, a player preparing a shot cannot be tackled
Fixed achievements unlocking

(should affect Post to Post, Pro, Expert) If you already meet the requirements for one of these achievements, you will need to perform one more related action to unlock the achievement.

Goalkeeper Improvements
  1. Fixed an issue where the GK catch/deflect seemed to play correctly, but was subject to rollback immediately after
  2. Fixed a similar but different issue where a goal could be validated and scored even if the goalkeeper had caught or deflected the ball, causing a rollback
  3. Fixed an issue where the goalkeeper would sometimes play the catch animation when diving close to another player
  4. Invulnerable goalkeepers can no longer be tackled when doing an action, moving them outside of the keeper area
Ball Touch
  1. Reworked Ball Touch to prevent the ball from appearing too far away from the player in possession.
  2. Ball Touch is the visual system that animates the ball when in possession. This allows ball possession to be clearer but doesn’t impact gameplay, since in possession, the ball doesn’t have a hurtbox.
New Options
  1. Options can now be reset per tab
  2. Added Magnus sensitivity setting
Crashes
  1. Fixed a crash that could occur after a replay
  2. Fixed a crash that could occur if the player performs a ball action in Freeplay as they join an Online Match
Other
  1. Added procedural animations so that GKs will now visibly move their arms to catch balls.
  2. Fixed incorrect ball position during Ball control, where the ball warped back and forth in a weird way during certain Ball Controls.
  3. Reduced Shake cam intensity on ball steal success.
  4. Fixed an issue where Defense Mode deflects could be denied/ignored by the server.
  5. Fixed an issue where the Defense Mode deflect animation would cancel itself prematurely when moving.
  6. Fixed the static ball not being controllable.
  7. Multiple animation improvements and fixes.
  8. Reduced the speed of walking animation.
  9. Fixed the lag at the end of a match.
  10. Fixed an issue where the custom match server region was different from the one selected in the options.
  11. Fixed an issue where the ball would become impossible to interact with after someone in its possession disconnects.

Minor Fixes

  1. Fixed multiple issues in tutorials and workshops.
  2. Fixed AI not being the goalkeeper in the Score tutorial.
  3. Fixed the goal collision volume not taking the ball radius into account correctly.
  4. The fixed ball attaches itself to the shoot on kickoff.
  5. Fixed the Shots on Target stat in the Player Profile.
  6. Fixed the ball’s behaviour in the Main Menu and in Freeplay.
  7. Optimized pause menu loading time.
  8. Fixed some shop items being shown in the customization menu when they shouldn’t.
  9. Fixed some cases where players could clip through the pitch’s walls during celebrations.
  10. Fixed the Cart Wheel celebration in 3v3.
  11. Players no longer teleport after the stadium entrance cutscene.
  12. Fixed an issue where changing the audio language options would create an unwanted button in the user interface.
  13. Fixed an issue where, when launching the game for the first time, the default audio language would be set to a language other than English.
  14. Fixed an uncommon issue where players could walk in the air.
  15. The Customization menu now works correctly when the Shop is in maintenance.
  16. Player customization will now be saved properly when joining a match while making changes to it.

  4. Player Profile – Fixed the Exp Gauge display

Miscellaneous Fixes

  1. Fixed the Button Remapping display.
  2. Fixed the button prompt display in notification pop-ups.
  3. Added visual feedback to identify owned Bundles in the Store.
  4. Fixed the Social Panel sometimes gets stuck during the credits.
  5. Fixed Rich Presence sometimes not updating properly when a friend is alone in a custom match lobby.
  6. Fixed the video preview to have it loop from the start when arriving in the Store Feature tab, Bundles tab, and in the Battle Pass.
  7. Fixed an issue where the game would lose focus in the Friends List panel.
  8. Fixed the descriptions of collaboration items.
  9. Various UI rendering quality improvements.

Additions and Updates

  1. Improved the Player Card lighting in the Customization menu.
  2. Improved the Goal Celebration cutscene lighting during the match.
  3. Various Stadium & VR optimizations
  4. Added a colour control setting for eyelashes
  5. Improved Global GPU/Rendering performances.
  6. Improved GPU/Rendering performances for Low/Medium settings during the Prologue.

Minor Fixes

  1. Fixed AR Reactions not playing properly from the Celebration to Replay transition, and from the Replay to the kickoff Countdown transition.
  2. Fixed the wind animation for foliage during goal bursts.
  3. Fixed displaced meshes on the main character’s hairstyle in the Prologue.
  4. Fixed Radar Bounces clearing too early when the previous ball’s owner shoots.
  5. Added missing thumbnails for some tattoos.
  6. Fixed missing animations for low resolution crowd.
  7. Fixed a visual artefact where character outlines would be visible through the character’s hair.

Audio

Major Fixes

Various user interface sound-related issues have been fixed.

Minor Fixes

  1. Fixed the game flow transition sequence when going back to the Main Menu.
  2. Added the BGM title in the PS5 Menu.
  3. Fixed a bug where the sound of the ball trail was playing loudly during the kickoff animation.
  4. Fixed an issue preventing the countdown sound effect from starting while playing in the Water Stadiums, Wind Stadiums, and Mountains VR.

Matches / Core Gameplay

  1. Sometimes, aerial volley animations are cancelled mid-air, but the actions are correctly triggered .
  2. The invulnerability visual feedback for the goalkeeper can sometimes be missing.
  3. Ball steal priority present for standing tackle over sliding tackle.
  4. Desync can be caused by repeatedly switching between Windowed and Fullscreen mode while shooting.
  5. The game ends abruptly after 60 minutes with no indication for the players.
  6. Sometimes, the pre-catch animation as a Goalkeeper is triggered, but does not connect with the ball.
  7. The ball can sometimes appear to suddenly warp/snap to another position after tackle interactions.
  8. Ball desync is present upon reconnecting to a session following a deflect.
  9. Misplaced AI pathing during the “Tackle” portion of the prologue.
  10. Catching the ball during an Extra Effort transition can make the ball appear to warp/snap to another position.
  11. Player ball catch/ball control is triggered even if the ball is moved out of the control range instantly.
  12. Missing ball control functionality after recovering from a tackle without moving. 
  13. Title crashes during the Movement Tutorial if the Player waits too long during the second Oriented Control Step. 
  14. Corrupted replay camera in Spectator mode. 
  15. Players can become spectators upon multiple players getting backfilled (joining an ongoing match) into a Quick Match. 
  16. Shoot priority overrides the Defense Mode Ball Control upon receiving a pass. 
  17. Inconsistency between the invulnerability circle UI and timer when tackling an ally as GK. 

Menus / Interface

  1. The player character’s color palette can be overridden with the Equipment color while previewing Special skins. 
  2. In specific situations, the ranking promotion displays incorrect information to the player.

Other

Rare random crashes can be encountered on PS5.
