REPO: All New Monsters Added in the Monster Update

The Monster Update has introduced 10 brand new Monsters in REPO. The major update also brings a ton of new stuff besides the threats. For instance, players can now look forward to earning new upgrades or finding new treasures. The Monster Update has breathed fresh life into the horror co-op experience. However, all of those features aside, the primary draw for the update are the new Monsters now in the game. The following article explores each of those Monsters and the counters that are effective against them.

All New Monsters in REPO

Monster	Description	Counter
Gambit	Gambit will pick you up and hold you while spinning a wheel to decide your fate. The wheel in question has possible outcomes. Once the spin ends, Gambit will release the player and go away, ignoring all other players around him.	Hide if you manage to spot Gambit before it spots you. Eventually, the Monster might lose interest and move on. If it catches you, there’s now way to protect yourself.
The Loom	One of the creepiest new Monsters in REPO, Loom moves in a slow methodical pace toward the player. When close, it will clap, causing a reverberation that damage your HP. The Loom can crouch and slide under doors.	As we stated, the Loom moves at an extremely slow pace. So, make sure you stay out of its reach and keep moving at a pace quicker than the Monster.
Oogly	Oogly is a new Monster that resembles an alien. Beware of its spotlight. If you stand directly in this light, Oogly will come down on you and deplete 40 HP in one swift attack. After that, Ooogly disappears.	Always try and avoid its spotlight. Keep to the shadows to stay protected. If it does spot and try to attack you, quickly run out of the room.
Bella	Bella is a little girl riding her tricycle throughout the level. She seems unassuming at first, but she hides a disturbing Monster under the surface. If you block her path or touch her, she’ll ring her tricycle bell at you as a warning. After three such rings, the little girl transforms into a terrifying Monster that attacks you for almost 10 seconds.	Keep your distance whenever you see Bella ride past. Never block her way.
Cleanup Crew	Another one of the challenging Monsters, the Cleanup Crew will lob its head at you like a grenade when it spots you. The head will bounce around and explode soon enough. The irradiated mist from the explosion can deal continuous damage if you’re caught in it.	Hide as soon as you spot the Cleanup Crew or vice versa. Don’t try and grab hold of the bouncing head, as that can shorten the explosive fuse.
Heart Hugger	Resembling a harmless Venus Flytrap at first, the Heart Hugger can quickly turn dangerous. If it spots you, it’ll release a pink mist. Players caught in the mist will grow a pair of wings and get pulled closer to the Heart Hugger. At close range, the Monster will deal massive damage to you.	Whenever you spot the pink mist, take a step back. Maintain distance from the mist to prevent the Monster from pulling you in.
Tick	The Tick is a tiny Monster that continuously depletes your HP if you pick it up.	Since the Tick is only dangerous when you pick it up, you should probably leave it alone when you see it. If you fall on an attached Tick, it’ll die immediately. After death, it releases a healing mist that replenishes your lost HP.
Birthday Boy	The Birthday Boy is another one of the scary new Monsters in REPO. He seems harmless, as he roams the map putting up balloons. however, he can get aggressive as soon as you pop one of those balloons.	Stay away from the balloons. In case you somehow pop one of them, run away before the Birthday Boy can detect and attack you.
Headgrab	The Headgrab is a unique monster, because it actively picks up a fallen player in co-op and wears their head as a necklace. Each head that it wears makes it more aggressive and faster.	Make sure you avoid its line of sight. In co-op, if the Headgrab gets hold of a team member’s head, you can get it back from the Monster to slow it down and reduce its aggression levels.
Elsa	Elsa is a friendly dog that you can pet. She doesn’t attack you unless you or someone else first harms the Monster. If that happens, Elsa turns into an aggressive beast with 600 HP and 15 Damage every hit.	Pet her gently and avoid attacking her. If she’s in some sort of danger, make sure no harm befalls her.
