This REPO guide will go over the new Gambit monster in the game, what it does, and offer tips on how to deal with it.

REPO’s newest update adds a boatload of new monsters, forcing you out of your comfort zone to adopt new strategies. The Gambit is one such monster that has debuted in the latest update, and is one of the trickiest monsters to deal with.
The Gambit, much as its name may suggest, is a monster that plays a game of chance to decide your fate. If you’ve played the update and faced the monster, you know exactly what we’re talking about. If you’ve had the good fortune to not face the monster yet, our article will go over everything you need to know to stay one step ahead of the Gambit.

What Does the Gambit Monster Do in REPO

The Gambit monster is, quite frankly, hilarious. This monster rushes up to you once it spots you, and if it catches you, it lifts you all the way up in the air. Then, the monster’s circular face turns into a spinning wheel with different colors. The monster will spin the wheel, and the color it lands on will determine your fate. Some colors work in your favor, while others are incredibly dangerous.

What Do the Gambit Monster Wheel Colors Mean in REPO
As stated earlier, the Gambit monster spins a wheel, and the color it lands on determines your fate. We’ve listed the colors and what they mean, down below:
- Red: The monster will attack you, eating away half of your HP.
- Green: The monster will heal you for 25 HP.
- Yellow: The monster will drop a bag of valuables on the floor.
- White: The monster will fully heal you. Fully restores your health
- Black: The monster will attack you, leaving you with just 1 HP.
How To Deal With the Gambit Monster in REPO
The Gambit monster is pretty easy to deal with. For starters, it has comically short arms, ones that would put a T-rex to shame. This means the monster’s reach is short, and you can easily stay safe as long as you’re an arm’s distance away.
If you somehow fumble your chance to escape, the monster will then suspend you in the air. Now, you have two ways to approach this situation. Either you can let the monster spin the wheel and gamble, or you can use your weapon to attack it in mid-air. We suggest using your weapons to escape if you have health, because you have everything to lose in such an instance.
If you’re running low on valuables or HP and fancy yourself a gambling man, you can let the monster spin the wheel in that case. All in all, the Gambit monster is fairly easy to deal with and isn’t a run-ender of any sort.
