REPO is a game that spawned a ton of memes due to its funny facial expressions, and now the game gives you a greater degree of control by allowing you to change these expressions. Yes, you heard that right. You can now change expressions in REPO. This means you can emote and react to any situation in the funniest way possible, adding further to the game’s humorous presentation.

While changing expressions is a welcome addition, it isn’t explained very well. The game doesn’t really tell you how to do so, but that’s where we come in. If you’re wondering how to change expressions in the game but don’t know how, keep reading to find out.

You can change expressions in REPO by pressing any numbered key between 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 0 on your keyboard. Each number here corresponds to a unique expression. The expressions currently available are:

  • Angry (5)
  • Sad (6)
  • Suspicious (7)
  • Eyes Closed (8)
  • Crazy (9)
  • Happy (0).

While this selection may seem a little limited, you can mix and match expressions to create new ones at any given time. For instance, mixing 5+6+9 will give you a unique expression. Try out different combinations to see what the game has to offer.

How To Customize Expression Settings in REPO

If you wish to customize settings around the expression, REPO lets you do that, too, by following the steps below:

  • Pause the game by pressing the ESC key.
  • Click on Settings in the pause menu.
  • Under Settings, go to the Controls section.
  • Scroll all the way down and you’ll find a section for Player Expressions.

You can adjust Player Expression settings to change the keybinds for expressions. The settings also give you the option to set expressions to toggle or hold. We recommend setting them to toggle, as it makes mixing and matching expressions easier.
