Upscream is arguably one of the most unsettling monsters that you encounter in REPO. It is a creature that walks on all fours like a spider but with a creepy humanoid head. The reason for its name is probably because of its attack where it screams at you before pushing you away. If you are not paying attention, it could result in a jumpscare.

While Upscream can be creepy, it’s not much of a threat. However, it can be annoying considering how it crawls towards you very fast. You may not have enough time to run or grab something to fight back. This is why preparing for your next encounter with this monster is crucial. How to Beat Upscream in REPO

Upscream is one of those enemies that feels like it was designed purely just to be annoying. It only has around 50 health so it’s not a beefy monster to beat. However, it’s quite agile and can throw you away which can disorient you. It also doesn’t help that you get a sudden jumpscare if this monster manages to grab you. 

Fortunately, Upscream is not that hard to counter in REPO. Similar to Chef the Frog, you can do the classic strategy of hitting it with light objects you can grab. Successfully landing a hit will cause the monster to ragdoll and be vulnerable for a few seconds. You just have to keep attacking it until you deplete its HP. You can also run away and find a hiding spot if you can’t be bothered to fight it.

This tactic is easier if you play with friends. Your squad can quickly chip away the monster’s HP if all of you go on the aggressive at the same time. Playing in groups should also keep anyone from being jumped by Upscream in REPO.
