Duck Bucket is one of the new REPO items that was made available in the latest Open Beta Test. It is part of the game’s first major update and is useful in tackling one of the title’s most annoying monsters. While usually cute, the waddling yellow Duck can become a nuisance Apex Predator during a REPO run.

So, how can you use the new Duck Bucket to avoid the situation? Let’s figure out.

How to get the Duck Bucket in REPO

The Duck Bucket is available in the Service Station as a secret shop item. It costs about $7k. It is not a guaranteed spawn at the shop, meaning you will have to load the game again if you don’t find it.

How to use Duck Bucket in REPO

The main goal of the Duck Bucket in REPO is to negate the Duck. To do so:

• Have the Duck stand in front of you.
• Equip the Duck Bucket
• Cover the Duck with the Duck Bucket by lowering the item over the creature’s head.

With the Duck Bucket in place, the Duck will wander around uninterested in you and your shenanigans. This essentially neuters its threat and lets you peacefully go about your intentions in REPO. But this isn’t the only thing that you can do with the Duck Bucket in-game.

u/jason9510386 devised a way to use the Duck Bucket to safely make your way back to the truck. Duck Tank, as the user quips, has the Duck Bucket placed sideways in a cart and then you hide inside it. Check out the clip below:

The Duck Bucket engineering hasn’t stopped there by any means. u/Puddenface claims to have improved the Duck Tank design altogether.

One only hopes that the developers don’t make changes to the Duck Bucket to hamper such creativity from the REPO playerbase.
