The monsters in REPO may be threatening, but the game gives you plenty of tools to deal with them, and the new Photon Blaster may just be the strongest of the lot. The handgun charges up photon rays, blasting them right at enemies in the form of a laser.

One or two shots are more than enough for most enemies, making this a blatantly overpowered weapon to carry. To make up for that, the weapon comes with a hefty price tag of $47,000, putting it on the higher end as far as weapons go. If you’re looking to run riot over enemies, the Photon Blaster is what you need. If you don’t know much about it, this guide should help.

You acquire the Photon Blaster by purchasing it for $47,000 from the shop. If you have the necessary funds, simply walk up to the weapon and press the purchase prompt to acquire it. You can then add the weapon to your inventory.

Once the weapon is in your inventory, it is time to hunt some monsters. Walk up to any monsters that you wish to dispose of and equip the Photon Blaster. Then, you can press the ‘E’ key to use the weapon. As soon as you press the button, the weapon will start charging up the photon rays, blasting them at enemies after a 1-second delay. You have a total of 4 charges to work with, and you can reload by finding Energy Crystals.

Best Ways To Use the Photon Blaster

As stated earlier, the Photon Blaster has a 1-second delay when firing. To compensate for that, it is best that you stand a little further away when firing. This will give you ample time to deal with the enemy efficiently. Furthermore, if the enemy gets too close, you risk knocking yourself in the blast. Keep your distance when firing.

Next, you need to keep your eyes on the charges. While most enemies die in one shot, some of them don’t. You have four shots to work with, so always make sure you have a spare shot in the pocket should you need it. If you’re running low, make sure to seek Energy Crystals to stock back up.
