In this guide, we shall go over the Tick, the new disgusting bug-like enemy in REPO’s latest Monster Update.
REPO’s latest update adds in a ton of horrifying new monsters, but the Tick is one that crosses the line and is absolutely repulsive to look at. The Tick, as its name suggests, is an oversized tick. This ugly bug latches onto you and then sucks on your blood to drain your HP.
The Tick isn’t much of a threat, but if you don’t know how to deal with it, it can get pretty dangerous, especially if you’re on critically low HP. If you’ve run into the Tick and just can’t get rid of it, our guide is here to help.

How Does the Tick Work in REPO
The Tick is a bug-like creature that crawls along the floor, minding its own business. It ignores you for the most part, but if you make the mistake of grabbing it, it will latch onto you. Once it does, it then drains 10 HP per second from you, which quickly stacks up to larger amounts the longer it sucks your HP. You’ll see the bug grow in size the more HP it drains.

How To Deal With the Tick in REPO
The first and easiest way to deal with the Tick is to not deal with it at all. As long as you don’t grab the Tick, it won’t latch on to you. If you run into this creature during your playthrough, simply walk past it, and you’ll be fine.
If curiosity got the better of you and you pick the bug up, it’s now sucking on your blood. To get rid of the Tick, you have to kill it by slamming it around. The tick has a total of 10 HP, and increases its own max HP by sucking on your blood. So when you slam it around, make sure to do it fast and aggressively so as to not let it heal during the attack.
If you can’t seem to kill it, you then have to let it suck on your HP till it reaches 100 HP. The Tick will be satiated at that point and will let go of its grip. You can then attack and kill the Tick to get back all the HP it stole from you. We only recommend using this way as a last resort, and you’re better off simply avoiding the monster.
