Everything you need to know about Resident Evil Requiem’s pre-order details, including the pricing, pre-order bonuses, and more.

Resident Evil Requiem, the upcoming mainline entry in the iconic survival-horror franchise, is finally available for pre-order. Announced as a big surprise during this year’s Summer Game Fest, Resident Evil Requiem is a bold new step for the franchise. Unlike the past mainline titles, Requiem features heavy emphasis on the “horror” part of the survival-horror experience.
The game features a new protagonist, Grace Ashcroft, who, unlike series veterans like Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, or Claire Redfield, isn’t an action hero. Instead, Grace, somewhat similar to Ethan Winters (for RE7), is an ordinary journalist without any professional firearms training.
As such, the horror this time around is more personal, with a lower emphasis on spectacle and action. All that makes Requiem one of the most unique mainline Resident Evil games since RE7. Luckily, fans won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on the latest Resident Evil title. Here’s everything you need to know about Resident Evil Requiem’s pre-order, and more.

Resident Evil Requiem Release Date and Platforms

Resident Evil Requiem is scheduled to be released on February 27, 2026. As with all the recently released Capcom titles, Requiem is coming exclusively to the current generation of consoles (and PC). As such, the game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC (Steam), and, surprisingly enough, even on the Nintendo Switch 2.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game will release alongside other platforms. Additionally, players on Switch 2 can also pick up the bundle of all previously released mainline Resident Evil games on the same date, as well.
The bundle includes the mainline RE titles that were previously only available as the Cloud Version for the Nintendo Switch.
Resident Evil Requiem Editions and Prices

Resident Evil Requiem is priced at the usual $70. Furthermore, the game, much like past RE titles, is offered in two different editions – Standard and Deluxe. The Standard Edition comes with the base game and the pre-order bonuses, which include an exclusive outfit for Grace.
Whereas the Deluxe Edition comes with everything in the Standard Edition, alongside the Deluxe Kit. The Deluxe Edition is also $10 more expensive than the Standard Edition, but justifies that price with the additional goodies it offers.
Here’s a rundown of the Standard and Deluxe Editions for Resident Evil Requiem:
Standard Edition ($69.99)
- Base game
- Pre-order bonus (Grace’s costume – Apocalypse)
Deluxe Edition ($79.99)

- Pre-order bonus (Grace’s costume – Apocalypse)

The Deluxe Kit includes the following in-game items:
