Grow a Garden has released its latest update, called the Kitchen Storm event. It is an extension of last week’s Cooking Event. If you’ve already played the Cooking Event, you will be familiar with the Cooking mechanics. You can now cook meals for the Chris P. NPC. New dishes have been added following the release of the new update.

New recipe lists were added following the release of the new update (Kitchen Storm). One of the new dishes that you can prepare is the Candy Apple. The Candy Apple comes in two distinct variants – Divine and Transcendant. Let’s check out the recipes for both variants:
Divine Recipes
- Recipe 1: 1x Apple + 1x Sugarglaze
- Recipe 2: 1x Sugar Apple + 1x Sugarglaze
- Recipe 3: 1x Sugar Apple + 1x Amber Spine
- Recipe 4: 1x Sugar Apple + 1x Bone Blossom
- Recipe 5: 2x Sugar Apple + 2x Paradise Petal
Transcendent Recipes
- Recipe 1: 3x Bone Blossom + 1x Sugarglaze + 1x Sugar Apple
Once the Candy Blossom dish is ready, feed the Chris P. NPC. Try to match his hourly cravings (e.g., “Hotdog would be nice”) for better rewards like Gourmet Seed Packs, Eggs, or Sheckles.
There is also a new NPC called the Rat Connoisseur. It is located next to the Cooking Pot, this NPC rewards mutated dishes with exclusive items like new seeds (e.g., Spring Onion, Bitter Melon) or pets (e.g., Gorilla Chef).
