xQc calls Pokimane’s claim that “only white people hated” Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl performance “ridiculous” and accuses her of pandering.

After popular streamer Imane “Pokimane” commented on people criticizing Kendrick Lamar’s performance at the Super Bowl halftime show, Felix “xQc” clapped back at Poki. Felix stated that Pokimane’s comment was ridiculous and accused Imane of “textbook pandering.” Pokimane stated that only white people hated the performance and that people failed to understand the underlying message. Felix, in his stream criticizing Poki and others, stated:
“If the whole thing is meant to be some for of double entendre hidden message, of course you’re going to miss the mark. But don’t act like it’s people’s fault for missing the mark, don’t put the blame on the people that are watching why they didn’t get it. That is a ridiculous thing to say.”
The popular Kick and Twitch streamer previously streamed with Kendrick Lamar’s rival, Drake, whom fans recalled during the halftime show. Felix also stated that the majority of the NFL’s viewer base consists of white men. He further explained that the Super Bowl is bigger than race and that Poki presented a fair point. However, the streamer criticized Poki after she stated that there was an underlying message the performance was trying to convey. He stated that people are trying to watch a performance, not solve a puzzle.
“You can interlace messages and symbolism in music and performances, okay? but if you say ‘oh you didn’t like it it’s because you didn’t understand’ you were not meant to understand, this isn’t some documentary or some puzzle that you’re watching. the point of a halftime show isn’t to give the world some some puzzle to figure out.”
xQc’s Tweet About the Super Bowl Halftime Show
After the event, xQc posted a tweet about Kendrick Lamar’s performance. The streamer was highly critical of the show and stated that the crowd looked quiet this year. Felix called out the supporters of the performance and stated that they gaslit themselves into liking it.
“Well done everyone, you’ve gaslit yourselves and everyone that people actually listen to this shit just to see someone else fall. It’s unfortunate none of the Spotify bots attended the show though, looked pretty quiet this year.”

The streamer was highly critical of Kendrick Lamar during the Drake vs. Kendrick beef. The streamer had tweeted multiple times in support of Drake. He stated that Kendrick’s songs were a “snooze fest” and that not even false accusations could wake him up.
Drake cooked. Not even false accusations could wake me up from the snoozefest Kendrick dropped. No one cares that it takes three historians to understand the “depth” of the bars brother, it just sounds lame and boring. L pic.twitter.com/9kFpw961XD
