How To Get Chemfuel in Rimworld
The following are some of the ways in which you can acquire Chemfuel in the game.
Using the Biofuel Refinery
Crafters can work these refineries. You can drop 70x wood logs into the refinery to get 35x Chemfuel. It will take 2000 ticks for the crafter to complete this work, which is equivalent to around 33 seconds. Alternatively, you can also use Raw Food in the Biofuel Refinery to turn it into Chemfuel. 3.5 nutrition worth of food will transform into 35x Chemfuel. The Crafter will take around 2500 ticks, or approximately 42, to complete this job.
Boomalopes
Milking a tamed adult Boomalope of either gender will give you 11x Chemfuel. Only an Animal Handler can perform this task, and the amount of Chemfuel they gather might increase based on their Animal Gather Yield. Milking the animal will take around 400 ticks or approximately 7 seconds. In general, each Boomalope can be milked just once per day.
Infinite Chemreactors
Infinite Chemreactors can produce 75x Chemfuel every 600,000 ticks, or 10 in-game days. However, you will need to provide the reactors with a constant power of 300 W. After producing the 75x Chemfuel, the Infinite Chemreactor drops the can in any of the empty adjacent tiles. The biggest benefit of this process is that it happens automatically and doesn’t require any pawn inputs.
