Since its release in 2019, Risk of Rain 2 has released two DLCs in addition to the base game. The first one, Survivors of the Void, had a much better reception compared to the second expansion, Seekers of the Storm.

Now, Gearbox is gearing up (pun intended) for its third expansion, which is named Collective Alloyed. Here is everything we know about the Risk of Rain 2: Collective Alloyed Expansion.

What Is the Risk of Rain 2: Collective Alloyed Expansion?

This new DLC is bringing a bunch of new additions to the shooter rogue-like game. You have to traverse the Solus-controlled territory, Petrichor V. This means new areas to explore and, naturally, more foes to defeat.

We have a bunch of confirmed details regarding the items that will be added in this pack. Firstly, we will be able to explore a total of six new stages, which will add a fresh environment for players to explore. This area will have seven new enemies to watch out for.

Moreover, you can collect 15 new items and also obtain seven new drones to aid your runs. You will also be able to play as two new Survivors – one of whom is a returning character from the first game. Lastly, you will also be able to take on a new boss, which will change the endgame (who is likely named the Solus Wing).

When Is the Risk of Rain 2: Collective Alloyed Expansion Releasing?

Unfortunately, we do not have a confirmed release date for this DLC yet. In the Dev Diary for the expansion, they mentioned that they are continuing to work on optimizing the game.

The previous two expansions will have a similar size to the upcoming one. Therefore, lower-end devices and the Nintendo Switch might experience reduced game performance. So, to prevent this, game optimization will be a welcome change.
