In this guide, we shall go over how to commission the Steel Pipes Facility in Roadcraft, so you can produce your own pipes.
Roadcraft features a ton of quests that take you to various disaster-hit locations, where you help with rebuilding efforts. Incommunicado is one such region on your list, a region that has gone offline. Rebuilding this region requires you to complete several tasks, one of which is commissioning the Steel Pipes Facility.
Commissioning the Steel Pipes Facility is one of the longer objectives in the game. This objective has four sub-objectives, which can seem like a daunting task. These sub-objectives include:
- Infrastructure: Replace Pipes
- Deliver Object
- Store Resources: Steel Beams
- Infrastructure: Electricity
The objectives provided are vague and offer little to no direction. Still, despite the lack of guidance, these sub-objectives are fairly easy, and we’re here to walk you through them. In this guide, we will explain how to commission the Steel Pipes Facility in Roadcraft.

How To Commission the Steel Pipes Facility in Roadcraft
As mentioned earlier, there are four sub-objectives you need to complete to commission the Steel Pipes Facility. You can complete these tasks in any order.
- Infrastructure: Electricity – Complete this task by using the electric cable-laying vehicle. Get into one of these vehicles and open the map. You will see two colored zones on the map: red and blue. Drive the vehicle from the blue area to the red area to lay cable and complete the task.
- Deliver Object – Use any of the cargo vehicles equipped with a crane to pick up the object and deliver it.
- Store Resources: Steel Beams – Collect debris with a blue glow scattered across the map and deliver it to the Steel Beam Facility. Use a cargo truck with a crane to make the task easier. Produce the beams and transport them to the garage for storage.
- Infrastructure: Replace Pipes – To replace the pipes, you’ll need to acquire them first. Complete the Construction Depot quests. Once completed, you can purchase items from the depot. Purchase the pipes for 2,500 cash and load them onto your cargo truck. Use the truck’s crane to replace the pipes in the designated locations.

Complete all of the tasks listed above to commission the Steel Pipes Facility. Once completed, you will be able to produce your own steel pipes.
