Roadcraft sees you leading a company’s restoration efforts across disaster-hit lands. You travel from map to map, identify the damage to the infrastructure, compute a strategy, and then go about fixing the damage and rebuilding the area.\

One common problem bleeding through all the regions in the game is that of damaged roads. The roads are all messed up and patchy, and you have to go through a considerable amount of effort to fix one each time. First, you’ll need to find sand, which you’ll have to load into any truck with a tipper. You’ll then have to dump the sand onto the patchy road and then run over the heap of sand with a bulldozer.

The process seems simple, except acquiring sand is a gritty process. You’ll need tons of sand, and sometimes it is just difficult to do so with limited sand quarries.

There is a way to bypass the limited number of sand quarries, however. There exists a field service vehicle exploit that gives you unlimited (and easy) access to sand, allowing you to fix all roads with reduced effort. If you’re looking to fix the roads in-game, this exploit is a lifesaver. If you don’t know how to go about using it, we’re here to help. In this guide, we shall go over how to get sand from a field service vehicle using an exploit in Roadcraft.

To use the sand exploit, you’ll need a field service vehicle, as well as any truck with a tipper. Park the field service vehicle near the road you’re fixing and switch over to the truck. Once you have the truck, head over to any of the sand quarries on the map and collect the sand. Dump the sand using your tipper.

Now, instead of going back to collect more sand, press the R or D-pad Up to recover. Select any of the Recovery Points and recover. You’ll spawn at the base with your truck still empty. Open the garage menu and retain the truck. As soon as you close the menu, your truck will redeploy and will be filled with sand. Take note that this is an exploit and may be patched later on.
