Yes, you can play Roadcraft in co-op, driving around with a buddy, fixing things. Inevitably, you’ll run into a new vehicle you may like, and you’ll hop onto it for a drive. The issue is, only the host will get access to the vehicle. If you’re the host, you’ll get the vehicle, and if you’ve joined someone else’s game, you’ll have to watch them drive around the new vehicle. This is undoubtedly unfair, but there is a way to work around this.

As stated earlier, the game grants the vehicle automatically to the host. So first, as a host, you need to head out into the world and find whatever vehicle you wish to drive. This is also applicable to machinery such as cranes. Once you have the vehicle you need, you can drive it around freely.
Now, the other player has to head to the garage. Once you’re in the garage, you will then find the option to summon the same vehicle the host has. You can then summon and drive this vehicle around as you see fit. If you’ve joined a session, you have to do the same thing. The vehicle is part of the host’s save file, and you simply need to summon it.
The mechanic remains the same regardless of the number of players joining your co-op session. If you have three players in your session, those three then need to summon the new vehicle from the garage the same way. There is no limit to the number of players who can drive the same vehicle.
