The game is all about your childhood fantasy of playing with cranes and concrete mixers. Players can scout and restore terrains left battered in the aftermath of natural calamities. With multiple heavy-duty vehicles and machinery at your disposal, the game offers unique gameplay and mechanics.
The gameplay revolves around completing infrastructure contracts for cash and experience. Then use them to upgrade and unlock more specialized vehicles, which are not only important to make current objectives easier but also necessary for completing certain tasks in more difficult areas.
To construct terrains in Roadcraft, you’ll need a constant supply of sand at your disposal. It is one of the most important ingredients for building roads. Since you run out of sand pretty quickly, it’s always a good idea to restock to complete your tasks with ease.
Where To Refill Sand in Roadcraft?
First, you will need a dump truck or another vehicle equipped to carry sand. Then open the map using the map button and click on the Sand Quarries option at the top left of the screen. This will display all the marked sand quarry locations in yellow.
Once you are at the sand quarry location, drive your vehicle into the yellow circle. An icon will light up at the bottom, and you can start refilling sand with the press of a button. You can also extend the total carry capacity of sand by buying new vehicles and upgrading current ones.
Automate Road Building in Roadcraft
Since the road-building process can be a bit tedious, Roadcraft also allows you to bypass it and automate it altogether, but it will use sand from your reserve. Therefore, to complete your assigned objectives, make sure to have enough sand in your inventory.
Lastly, you will be able to build roads by adding asphalt and finally drive over them.
