As the leader of a company specializing in restoration efforts, you’ll frequently find yourself traveling back and forth across hazardous terrain. The areas you travel to have been hit by floods and other natural disasters, and they need help rebuilding. These areas and terrains are unlike highway roads or city streets, meaning you have to bring your A game if you wish to succeed, or sometimes, even reach the area.

More often than not, you’ll end up toppling your truck over while navigating these terrains, especially early on when you’re familiarizing yourself with the mechanics. If you’re really unlucky, you’ll end up on your hood, or worse, stuck between two rocks. Bumping down the accelerator would not make you any less unstuck in this instance. You may try everything, and when nothing works, you may be tempted to quit and reboot the game.

Thankfully, there’s no need for that. The game accounts for harsh terrain and has a built-in recovery function to help you get back on your wheels. If you’re stuck between harsh terrain or have toppled your car over completely, you need to use the recovery function. If you don’t know how to recover your car, we’re here to help. In this guide, we shall go over how to unstuck any vehicle in Roadcraft.

As stated earlier, Roadcraft allows you to unstuck your vehicle by using a built-in recovery function. This function respawns your vehicle at the press of a button. The only catch is – it spawns you at designated points, so you may have to travel back quite a bit if you were far away from these Recovery Points.

You recover and unstuck your vehicle by pressing and holding the ‘R’ key on PC or the designated Recovery key shown on the top left corner of your screen on consoles. Press and hold the key, and the game will open a Recovery Point menu. This menu will show you a map, and you can then select the Recovery Point you wish to spawn at. Confirm your selection, and the game will respawn your car, unstucking you in the process.
