Roadcraft is the successor to the Snowrunner and Mudrunner games. Much like those titles, you’ll need to operate heavy machinery to remove debris and other obstacles from regions. This addictive formula is drawing players to the latest game across all platforms. However, that doesn’t include the player base on the Nintendo Switch.

Roadcraft is currently unavailable on the Nintendo Switch. That doesn’t mean there’s no hope for the simulation game to reach the handheld platform at a later date. Let’s dive into whether Roadcraft on Nintendo Switch could become a reality soon.

As we said, you can’t presently play the game on the Nintendo Switch platform. Instead, it is only available to PC players through the Epic Games Store and Steam. If you have access to current-gen consoles, you can also play this title using a PS5 or Xbox Series S|X. You can try running the game on the Steam Deck too, but it may not run properly due to a lack of optimization on that particular handheld device.

Since the title supports all mainstream platforms besides the Nintendo Switch, there’s still hope for the game to reach the handheld device. Another argument that supports this theory is the fact that Snowrunner eventually made its way to the Nintendo Switch much later than its original release date. So, Focus Entertainment might be following a similar process for Roadcraft too.

However, all of these are just suppositions. The developers haven’t officially revealed that a Nintendo Switch port of the game is in the works at present. So, for now, you’ll need a PC or a current-gen Microsoft or Sony console to play.
