The Decorations Update in 99 Nights in the Forest is all about giving players the chance to be creative and personalize their base. Before, the game was mainly focused on surviving the nights, battling monsters, and gathering resources.
With this update, you can now collect more than 60 pieces of furniture to decorate your camp, use a paintbrush tool to change colors, and place writable signs to leave fun messages for yourself or your friends.
Building has also become smoother with grid snapping that helps line things up neatly, and the ability to rotate structures while planning. Instead of only worrying about survival, you can now make your base stylish, cozy, and truly your own space in the forest.
What’s New in the Decorations Update?
New Furniture
Over 60 pieces of furniture have been added to the game. These range from simple items to rare decorations that let you design a base that feels unique and cozy.
Furniture Trader
A brand-new NPC called the Furniture Trader appears around Day 3 or 4. He sells different furniture, and his stock changes every few days. Sometimes you’ll get common pieces, and other times he’ll offer rare ones, so checking often is worth it.
Paint Brush Tool
You can now buy a paintbrush at the fishing hut. This tool lets you recolor furniture, which means you can match everything to your style instead of being stuck with default colors.
Writable Signs
Signs have been introduced that you can write on. You can use them to mark rooms, leave reminders, or just have fun by adding funny or creative messages around your base.
Grid Snapping
Building is easier with the new grid snapping system. Furniture and decorations will automatically line up with the grid, so you don’t have to stress about things looking messy or uneven.
Structure Rotation
When planning a build, you can now rotate structures. This gives you much more freedom to design and arrange your base exactly the way you want.
