Cost and How To Buy
You can buy the Necromancer Class from the Daily Class shop for 600 Diamonds.
- Log in to 99 Nights in the Forest after the Classes Update on October 11.
- Once you are in the lobby, click on the Classes tab on the left side of the screen and scroll down to buy the Necromancer for 600 Diamonds.

Starting Items and Unique Ability
The Necromancer starts with the Necromancer’s Staff as its starter item. This is a unique weapon you can only get through this class that allows you to resurrect dead Cultists and have them follow you. To use it:
- First kill cultists you find during one of the nightly raids or at enemy locations such as the Cultist Stronghold.
- Then use the Staff on the dead bodies to consume their souls.
- Resurrect dead Cultist enemies using three souls.
- They will join you as an ally and follow you around the map, attacking entities unless you ask them to wait.
- You can have a maximum of six reanimated Cultists follow you at a time.
Tips on Playing the Necromancer Class
Here are some tips for 99 Nights in the Forest players using this class:
- The Necromancer’s Staff only starts becoming useful after you have a few followers, making the class weak for the first couple of nights.
- However, after you get going, it is fairly easy to start building a group of allies that can help you take on enemies towards the mid to late game. This makes the Necromancer one of the top classes for solo players.
- Use the reanimated Cultists as fodder. They will allow you to keep your distance from larger enemies and also divide the attention of mobs during raids. Do note that they are quite squishy and lose the ability to use weapons to fight.
- You can also resurrect the Cultist King after defeating it, which makes for a much stronger ally. As you can summon the boss multiple times, you can have several Cultist Kings in your group.
- Lean heavily into using the Staff to upgrade the class and deal more damage through your reanimated allies.
