AOONI Nightmare: How To Play
You and up to 15 other players find yourselves trapped in a nightmare school. Your mission: complete a series of “classes” (objectives or puzzles) to escape while evading the Ao Oni and other monsters.
First Class (Collect Puppets)
Every player starts in the school, where the Ao Oni confronts you. From here, you have to make sure to avoid the monster. In the first class, your objective is quite simple – to collect eight puppets (Press “E” to pick up the object) and bring them back to the original class. You can find these puppets at various locations. Explore and collect.
Second Class (Gym)
You will be transported to a gymnasium. Here, the floor is a grid-based platform. A rotating cylindrical structure moves across the platform, breaking or removing grid tiles, creating gaps you must avoid falling through. The primary goal is to stay on the platform for two minutes without falling off.
Third Class (Collect Book)
Similar to the first class, this one also involves a “find and collect” style quest. Here, you and the other players have to search and collect nine Books and return to the original class. Do not let the Ao Oni catch you.
Ending (Escape)
In the final round, you and your fellow players must escape by following the light at the corridor’s end. A horde of monsters will chase you, and to heighten the challenge, you must jump or dodge hurdles along the corridor.
