The Flame Mountain is the latest game mode in Duel Warriors. The popular melee fighting experience on Roblox was previously mostly a 1v1 or 2v2 experience. The new game mode adds a completely new way to enjoy the game. It is essentially a team deathmatch, or TDM mode. In this article, we will go over the Flame Mountain game mode in Duel Warriors and provide some tips and tricks that can come in handy during the team fights.
Duel Warriors Guide: Flame Mountain Team Deathmatch Mode
The Flame Mountain is a completely new server area, separate from the normal Duel Warriors lobby. Like the previously added Soccer mode, players will have to take a portal to get there. Follow these steps to start playing the team deathmatch mode.
- Launch Duel Warriors on Roblox
- Locate the Flame Mountain portal. Refer to the image above. It is situated behind the Ability Raffle Shop in the main lobby.
- After loading into the new server, walk towards the red starting area to load into a team deathmatch.
Players who enter the starting area will randomly join one of the teams. The arena is much larger to accommodate a large group of players and is a refreshing change from the normal 1v1 or 2v2 battles.
Flame Mountain Tips and Tricks
Previous game modes in Duel Warriors focused more on single-opponent battles. The Flame Mountain mode is different, and you will have to fight multiple enemies at once. Here are some tips and tricks that can come in handy while playing the new team deathmatch mode in Duel Warriors.
- Use costumes that increase your HP.
- Try not to use abilities that affect single targets. There are naturally exceptions.
- Abilities that knock back enemies are quite good. You can push them into the lava, which deals double damage in this mode.
- Try to use abilities that can stun or immobilize groups of enemies.
- Use the meteor ability you get for free when surrounded by multiple opponents. This can target up to three people at once.
Here are some of the abilities that are good for the Flame Mountain game mode in Duel Warriors.
- Mad Shoot: This starting ability can knock back enemies into the lava.
- Snowball: If used properly, this can push enemies and freeze them on the lava, dealing massive damage.
- Fart: This can stun large groups of enemies, opening them up for attacks.
- Minefield: Good for counter groups.
- Phantom Spin: A meta ability for the team deathmatch mode. You can scoop up multiple enemies and spin them into the lava.
