New leaks suggest Roblox’s upcoming egg hunt-inspired event, The Hatch, will include 1,000 distinct experiences. While the specifics have not been officially revealed, it has been announced that it is going to be the biggest egg hunt event in Roblox history. Many are also inclined to believe the leak about a thousand games. Because the verified account associated with the gaming company announced on June 12, 2025, that 1,000 developers are working for the event.

However, this has not been taken very well by many in the community. Fans have expressed their dissatisfaction with the leaked news online, with many taking to social media such as Reddit and X to criticize Roblox for including so many experiences in the event that is supposedly only going to last for 10 days. Let us explore the various reactions and the leak in detail.

The Hatch Roblox Event Leak Explored

On June 15, X user @RBXevents_ shared a photo that is supposedly a screenshot from an official document titled “The Hatch Overview.” It is a document addressed to the developers of the experiences that are supposedly going to participate in the event. Certain details such as the Concept, Dates, and gameplay Loop can be found in the photo. The post went viral in the community, with content creators like KreekCraft also replying.

As per the supposed leak, The Hatch is going to feature 1,000 Experiences and will feature a hub from where players will start their egg hunts. A relevant part of the document reads:

“The Hatch is the largest event Roblox has ever produced, featuring 1,000 Experiences! Players will portal from the hub experience to yours, searching for a randomized egg.”

We also got the information about the duration of the event. It is supposedly going to last for ten days, starting from July 2 and ending on July 12. The gameplay loop is going to be like the classic Egg Hunts. Players are supposed to find the eggs in the designated experiences, and it should take 2-3 minutes.

Community Reacts – KreekCraft Is Holding Out Hope

As mentioned, not many people were happy with the leaks. Many raised questions about the large number of experiences included in The Hatch, with some claiming having 1,000 experiences will degrade the quality of the content. Here are some general reactions from X.

“There’s no way the quality isn’t gonna be ass on 90% of them then,” mused one fan.

“1000 games in 10 days? How are we supposed to do this,” asked another.

“‘1000 experiences’ yeah this right here is the reason why roblox’s events have been abysmal dogs**t since last year it’s literally just recycled slop and the whole ‘egg hunt’ idea was just for fan service,” claimed a player.

Popular YouTuber KreekCraft, however, did not share the sentiment. While he did not seem overly joyful about the 1,000 experiences leak, KreekCraft said he was going to remain hopeful:

“There were a few leaks that came out regarding the last event that sounded terrible, and that event ended up being one of my favorites of all time. So I’m going to remain hopeful and go into this with a positive mindset. Fingers crossed.”

The Hatch Is Supposedly Going To Be a Find-and-Seek-Style Event.

In another photo shared by the same X user, we get a better picture of how the egg hunt is supposed to go down. It is supposedly going to be a Find and Seek-styled event. Here are the rules, as explained in that screenshot:

  • Eggs should take between 2 and 3 minutes to find.
    • Eggs should be attainable by new and old players.
    • The egg must be hidden within your lobby or relatively close to the player spawn point.
    • Must be a “Find and Seek” style vs tied to completing an objective.
