The Fall Bloom in Grow a Garden is a new system that came into effect with the Fall Market. With this update, players have the opportunity to unlock new pets, seeds, gears, and a range of cosmetic items. However, whether you’ll be able to unlock and get these items will rely on your ability to donate specific plant types and complete the Fall Bloom.

What Is Fall Bloom in Grow a Garden?
Fall Bloom is a special event in the game where you’ll need to donate specific plant types to the Fall Tree Harvest NPC. Each donation earns you some points, which go toward fulfilling the points requirement. Every time you give a plant this way, a contribution unlocks in your name.
The more you donate, the more contributions you unlock. These will then unlock the new update-specific items at the Fall Shops. You can buy all of the available items from the Fall Shops and activate the Fall Bloom to restock them at the shop. Unlike previous events, the shop items don’t restock every hour on their own.
If you are one of the players who contribute to the Fall Bloom, you’ll receive the Fall mutation on a random crop in your garden. Besides that, the Fall Tree will also reward you with a bunch of free Fall-themed items, including the Fall Egg, Fall Crate, and more.
Activating Fall Bloom
Here is the detailed process of activating the Fall Bloom event:
Gather the Necessary Plant Type
You should check the white bubble near the Fall Tree to see what kind of plant type you’ll have to contribute to progress the event. Based on what the bubble reveals, you’ll need to gather that type of plant. Plant types include Flower Plants, Leafy Plants, Stalky Plants, and many other kinds.
Deliver the Necessary Plant Type
After collecting the required plant type, head back to the Fall Tree. Equip the plant from your inventory and then press E to open up the Fall Tree options. Select the ‘Feed this to the Harvest Spirit’ option from here. If you want to deliver more than one plant of that type, choose the option ‘Feed all my plants to the Harvest Spirit.’
Meeting the Points Requirement
To activate the Fall Bloom event, you will have to keep donating crops until you collect 500 points. All players can contribute to this points requirement. And, even if a player contributes just one plant, that’ll count toward the requirements for the shop item unlocks. Here’s how many points you receive for delivering plants of various rarity.
- Common: 1 Point
- Uncommon: 2 Points
- Rare: 3 Points
- Legendary: 4 Points
- Mythical: 5 Points
- Divine: 6 Points
- Prismatic: 7 Points
- Transcendent: 8 Points
After triggering Fall Bloom in Grow a Garden once, you cannot trigger it again during a 5-minute cooldown window. Also, keep in mind that the type of plant necessary to trigger the event will change every hour.
