Navigate the world of Fisch with our guide on Fisch Rod Progression guide. Learn how to choose rods that enhance your fishing experience.

The popular fishing simulator on Roblox, Fisch, is all about catching fish on several islands in a vast sea. The game gives you a wide variety of Fishing Rods to make that happen. Each one has different luck, draw speed, and resilience stats. From early on, however, you will find rods that give you various other passive boosts while you catch fish. With so many options to choose from, it can be overwhelming to select which ones you should spend your hard-earned money on.
This is a comprehensive Rod progression guide for Fisch, updated for the latest Fischfright 2025 update.

Overview: Rod Stats
Each Rod will have base stats such as Lure Speed, Luck, and Control. These are the direct factors you have to consider while making your choice. Here is a table explaining the meaning of each stat.
| Stat | Description |
|---|---|
| Luck | This determines the rarity of the fish you catch. Higher luck corresponds to higher rarity catch. |
| Lure Speed | As the name suggests, this is the rate at which the rod will lure a fish before you can start reeling in your catch. |
| Max KG | This number is the limit of the weight of the catch. |
| Control | During the reeling minigame, this stat determines the size of the white bar. The bigger the bar, the easier it is to reel in your catch. |
| Resilience | The greater the Resilience of a rod, the lower the movement of the fish during the reeling mini game. |
Apart from these stats, some rods have passives and other boosts that can completely change the whole fishing mechanic. Some increase luck by various means, while others impart certain mutations to your catch.
Now that the basics are out of the way, let us look at the best rods you should choose during the
Early-Mid Game (Stage 1 to 5)

| Stage | Rod | Price | Description and How To Get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stage 1 | Carbon Rod | 2,000 | This should be your first pick-up. Buy it from the Moosewood Village merchant. Start fishing and save up for the next one on the list. |
| Stage 2 | Wildflower Rod | 40,000 | It is recommended that you refrain from spending money on others until you have the Wilflower Rod. Get it from the Terrapin Island merchant. |
| Stage 3 | Phoenix Rod | 50,000 | Skip this if you got the Wilflower Rod. You can buy this at the Ancient Isles. This one adds 20% Scorched mutation chance on your catch. |
| Stage 4 | Kings Rod | 100,000 | This is the first rod where enchants start making sense due to its infinite max kg. Buy it from the Keepers Altar area under the Sovereign Statue. Mythical Rod is another great option at this stage. |
| Stage 5 | Great Dreamer’s Rod | 500,0000 | You can buy this one from the Curse Isle that appears at night during Autumn or Spring. With a nice balance between Luck and Lure Speed, this should be perfect for grinding till the late game with the proper enchants. |
Late-End Game (Stage 5-10)

Towards the endgame, rods become very expensive and require a lot of money and grinding. Therefore, it is better not to pursue each one on the list below. We recommend getting your hands on the Stage 7 selection first and skipping straight to a Stage 10 Rod.
| Stage | Rod | Price | Description and How To Get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stage 6 | Rod of the Exalted One | – | You can get it for free by completing The Keeper’s Secret Puzzle. It is great for hunting for Exalted Relics. |
| Stage 7 | Luminescent Oath | 1.5 million | Buy it from the Luminescent Cavern, but you need to be level 500. The Great Rod of Oscar is another alternative at this stage, but it costs more and requires you to finish the Dead Man’s Tale quest. |
| Stage 8 | Duskwire | 7.5 million | Finish the Hollow’s quest in the Underground Music Venue to buy this one. However, you can skip this and go to Stage 10 if you are not interested in its passives. |
| Stage 9 | Evil Pitchfork | 20 million | You need to finish the Crimson King’s Quest to obtain the rod. |
| Stage 10 | Onirifalx | – | Complete all of Nick’s quests in The Depths to get this rod. You need to be level 1000 to finish the last quest, making this an end-game item. |
