As part of its most recent update, players can now explore a new point of interest, called Cultist Lair in Fisch. As you might expect, the lair holds a bunch of new fish. You can also craft brand new rods, or pursue different quests here. However, perhaps the trickiest part is finding and entering the Cultist Lair. If you’re one of those struggling to reach this new location, go through the guide below. We’ll detail how you can find it, what you need to do to enter the lair, and lots more.
How To Reach the Cultist Lair in Fisch
The first thing you need to do is head to Terrapin Island, which is located at -200, 130, 1925 coordinates. The Cultist Lair is a secret location within this island. However, you can’t just randomly walk into the lair. First, you have to speak with the Sea Traveler NPC on Terrapin Island and assist him. Go all the way to the back of the map and you’ll find the NPC in question standing next to the bunker. When you speak to him, he’ll ask you to retrieve a Sea Turtle for him. If you’re unaware, the Sea Turtle is a mythical fish.
You can catch one on Terrapin Island itself. The only condition you need to meet is that it should be daytime when you fish for it. Besides that, the Sea Turtle doesn’t have any bait, season, or weather preferences. The Zeus Rod or the Rod of Depths are perfect for this catch. Also, we suggest trying to nab a Sea Turtle during the early morning hours.
Once you have the fish in question, hold it in your hand and speak with the Sea Traveler NPC. You will receive a note from him, containing the following coordinates: X:0, Y: 155, Z:2000. Following these coordinates will lead you to a small cave on the island, named Terrapin Hideaway. Inside the cave, you’ll discover a green lever. Pull that lever to open up a door nearby that leads into the Cultist Lair. Keep in mind that the lever only appears during a Foggy Night. You can use the Smokescreen (Mushgrove Swamp) and Sundial Totems (Sunstone Island) to fulfill these weather conditions.
Note: The lever spawns only after you hand over the Sea Turtle to the Sea Traveler. However, if a friend already possesses the note, you can stick close to them and enter the lair alongside them when they pull on the lever.
What Can You Do Inside the Cultist Lair in Fisch
Upon entering the Cultist Lair, players will be able to pursue new quests. They can also open multiple doors inside by fulfilling specific item requirements. Opening each of the doors will enable you to progress deeper into the lair location. Eventually, you’ll reach the Leviathan. The following are a list of items you’ll have to collect to get through each of the Cultist Lair doors.
- Cultist Lair Door 1: Albino Moon Wood, Sparkling Enchant Relic, and the Key of Whispers.
- Cultist Lair Door 2: Darkened Ancient Wood, Shiny Enchant Relic, and the Key of Oath.
