This beginner’s guide for Flight World will help new players master the various gameplay mechanics and systems in the Roblox experience. At its core, the game is a flight simulator, where players can enjoy the feeling of piloting an airplane. As you accumulate flight times, you’ll earn cash, which you can use to unlock superior and larger airplanes. Before you experience what it’s like to command a plane, you should understand the gameplay foundations.

Gameplay Overview
You will embody a pilot who can ferry passengers from one airport to another. When you fly, you keep earning some cash just from doing the activity. However, if you’re looking to build wealth quickly, you should take on jobs. You’ll earn a hefty sum of money if you can complete each job. Usually, the jobs involve going to the pickup point and picking up a number of passengers. Once they’re all aboard, you’ll need to fly the plane to the destination.
Once you have enough money from completing jobs or claiming daily rewards, you can use that to purchase bigger and faster planes. The more planes you unlock, the more jobs you’ll be able to take on. In the beginning, you’ll have access to only a starter plane and a couple of lesser-paying jobs. Over time, you can progress through more airplane purchases and increasingly complex jobs.
Controls
The following is the control scheme in the game:
- WASD (on foot): Movement
- Shift: Sprint
- Spacebar: Jump
- Z (on foot): Enter your plane as the pilot
- C (on foot): Enter the plane as a passenger
- W: Increase speed
- S: Decrease speed
- E: Start the plane’s engines
- G: Change the gear of the plane
- P: Rev Thrust
- L: Land Lights
- R: Hold the altitude
- C: Camera unlock
- Z: Unlock Advanced Controls
Keep in mind that you change the plane’s direction by simply moving the cursor around with your mouse.
Buying New Planes
You can check out the shop at any time by clicking on the Hangar menu on the left side of the screen. Clicking on it will bring up a list of available planes for purchase and their corresponding prices. If you have the money necessary, you can click on the plane you want to buy and go through with the transaction. After that, simply use the Spawn button on any airport to start flying the new one in your collection.
Jobs
On the left side of the screen is the Jobs menu. There, you can take a look at all of the available jobs and what they entail. You can also get a brief idea of the amount of money you’ll be able to earn if you complete a specific job. When you complete a job multiple times, its level increases. This unlocks better rewards from the job in question. So, keep progressing through each job to maximize your earning potential as a pilot.
Shop Section
The Shop menu on the left side of the screen opens up an in-game store where you can spend Robux to unlock a variety of boosts, items, and passes. While these aren’t essential to the core experience, buying them can give you a significant edge over other players.
