With the conclusion of the Seed Stages update on Grow a Garden Roblox, the Chubby Chipmunk makes its way into the game! The latest update on Grow a Garden brings in a new event, new plants, pets, gear, and much more. You can get a free Chipmunk pet that will eat your plants and get bigger. The heavier your Chipmunk grows, the more rewards you will get. The Chipmunk will also spawn Acorns, which you can use as rewards!

  • Chubby Chipmunk Event
    • Claim a Squirrel from the middle of the map for free and place it in your garden. The Chipmunk will eat plants in your garden to grow bigger.
    • Reach new weight milestones to unlock epic rewards such as seeds, cosmetics, gear, and more as your chipmunk grows heavier.
    • The chipmunk spawns acorns with its passive ability — find them for rewards.
    • Submit plants to spawn the Nutty Fever weather, allowing the chipmunk’s ability to trigger every 30 seconds.

Fixes, Changes, and Quality of Life Improvements

The developers made several changes and fixes over the week. In this update, the developers have focused more on quality-of-life improvements

  • Added cosmetic rotation lock to prevent unwanted rotation when moving items.
  • Added the Fall Traveling Merchant.
  • Changed the second tab in the cosmetic shop to a fence shop. You can now purchase Fences separately!
  • Made significant UI improvements:
    • Most UI is at least 10% larger on mobile.
    • Active Pet UI is easier to interact with.
    • Added an extra hotbar slot for mobile players (6 total now).
  • Enabled search bar in console player inventories.
  • Reduced Tiger passive cooldown from 8 minutes to 4 minutes.
  • Reduced Chimpanzee cooldown from 5 minutes to 2 minutes and increased its base chance to stay.
  • Added the ability to skip all egg timers.
  • Added the ability to collect all fruit.
  • Improved backpack performance.
  • Improved pet feeding and forever pack functionality.
  • Fixed various small pet bugs and other issues.
