The Grow a Garden Cooking Event expansion, the Kitchen Storm event, added transcendent-tier food to the game. Players can now make this event a better tier of food to satisfy Chris P’s cravings and stand a better chance of grabbing the new rewards from the Rat Connoisseur.
While the size and type of food are essential for getting cooking rewards, in Grow a Garden, the tier of the food is also important. Like crops and gear in the game, food also has tiers depending on the recipe you use. Here is a breakdown of all the tiers:
- Normal
- Rare
- Legendary
- Mythical
- Divine
- Prismatic
- Transcendent
Naturally, the higher the tier, the better the reward, such as the Gourmet Egg or the Sushi Bear pet. Submitting Transcendent food is the best option, so we have compiled a list of all Transcendent-tier food recipes. Use them to maximize the Cooking Event rewards in Grow a Garden.
Grow a Garden Transcendent Food Recipe Guide
Higher-tier food requires good crops. So newer players may not have access to all the crops listed. To that end, the list contains multiple recipes for each food item so that you have several options for making the Transcendent food of your choice. Every hour, Chris P, the pig NPC in the Cooking Event area, craves a different type of food. If you submit what it is craving, you stand a chance to gain better rewards.
How To Get Mutated Food Items?
The Rat Connoisseur only takes mutated food. Using crops with mutations increases the chances of the food item having an overall mutation. You can see the chance on the mutation meter above the cook pot.
