The developers of Grow a Garden have announced the next update, and it’s called the Crafting Update. Last weekend’s Friendship Update added a completely new mechanic to the game through Bizzy Bear’s Honey Crafters recipes. It seems like the upcoming patch will be building on it with new additions to the system.

Grow a Garden Crafting Update: When Will It Release and What Can Players Expect?
The update is coming to the game on June 14, 2025. It will seemingly mark the end of the ongoing Bizzy Bees event that added Honey as a limited-time resource, along with the Pollinated mutation. As mentioned, the Bizzy Bear quest chain introduced on June 7 brought a rudimentary crafting mechanic. Players could interact with the NPC to craft event-specific items by submitting pollinated plants and honey. As the name suggests, the upcoming update is set to bring a more robust crafting mechanic to Grow a Garden.
The store page confirms that players will be able to combine several items using unique recipes to unlock new things. The exact quote announcing the update on the official Discord Server reads:
“Make various combinations of items to discover new and unique recipes that unlock things like new gear, seeds, and lots more!”
If the Crafting Update is anything like the previous one, we will be getting new crops and pets as well. While nothing else has been officially confirmed, the addition of the crafting mechanic seems to be a more permanent feature that will stay in the game even after the event ends.
