The Corrupted Event in Grow a Garden stirred up a lot of excitement, especially with the expectation of a brand-new Corrupted Zen Egg. While the event brought in fresh pets and new mechanics, players quickly noticed that the so-called egg was missing from the usual spots.

Instead, the familiar Zen Egg from a previous event quietly took its place in the reward pool. If you’re trying to figure out how to get the Corrupted Zen Egg, or whether it even exists right now, here’s what you need to know.

Corrupted Zen Egg in Grow a Garden

At the moment, you cannot obtain a Corrupted Zen Egg in the game. Despite the Corrupted Event going live, the developer did not release a new egg for it. Instead, they added the old Zen Egg from the previous event to the Corrupted Event rewards. This means players who were expecting an exclusive egg for this update will only find the familiar Zen Egg available through event progression.

Even though the Corrupted Zen Egg itself is absent, the event still provides several new pets to collect. You can earn them through Kitsune Fox drops, by upgrading the Zen Tree to higher tiers, or directly from the Corrupted Event rewards. These include:

  • Kodama
  • Maneki-Neko
  • Corrupted Kodama
  • Football Pet
  • Raiju
  • Corrupted Kitsune

These pets add variety to your collection and are tied directly to event tasks, making them worth the grind even without the special egg.

Why Is the Corrupted Zen Egg Missing?

A Corrupted Zen Egg was originally planned for the event but was removed before the update went live. The developer has not confirmed the reason for this change. However, leaks from the official Discord revealed two pets that were supposed to come from the egg:

  • Tsuchinoko: Increases the Lucky Harvest Chance.
  • Mizuchi: When selling fruits with Wet or Drenched mutations, it has a chance to apply a random mutation from that fruit to another fruit in your garden.

These abilities suggest the egg was designed to introduce unique mechanics, making its absence even more noticeable. There is a possibility it might appear in a future update or a different event.

Currently, the Corrupted Zen Egg does not exist in Grow a Garden. Instead, the event reuses the previous Zen Egg while offering new pets through other methods.
