Grow a Garden is back with yet another update. The new update is called the Kitchen Storm event. This is an extension of last week’s cooking event and introduced a host of new cooking-themed content, including new items and gear. One of the new gears is the Pet Mutation Shard Aromatic. Let’s learn what it does and how to get it.
What Is Pet Mutation Shard Aromatic in Grow a Garden?
A Pet Mutation Shard Aromatic is a special gear item in the game Grow a Garden that, when used on a pet, grants it the “Aromatic” mutation. This mutation gives the pet the ability to apply the Aromatic mutation to nearby fruits in your garden every 25 minutes, which in turn increases the fruits’ value by a significant multiplier (15x).
How To Get the Pet Mutation Shard Aromatic
To get the Pet Mutation Shard Aromatic, feed mutated fruits to the Rat Connoisseur NPC. Follow these steps:
- Feed the Rat Connoisseur NPC mutated food.
- For every mutated meal you give them, they will offer you a choice of three random rewards.
- The Pet Mutation Shard Aromatic has a chance to be one of these rewards. There is a 20% chance of it appearing as one of the three rewards.
- To increase your chances of receiving this item, it is recommended to give the Rat Connoisseur higher-tier food recipes and larger dishes made from rarer mutated plants.
