If you’re aiming to turn your garden into a money-making machine in Grow a Garden, the Hinomai is worth your attention. Introduced in the Zen Update, this Mythical crop isn’t just rare, it’s one of the most valuable multi-harvest plants in the game.

Hinomai in Grow a Garden
The Hinomai is a Mythical-tier crop introduced in the Zen Update on July 19, 2025. It’s not available in the Seed Shop, and you can’t get it through Lucky Harvests or pet abilities. That means no help from Red Foxes or digging Dogs as this is an event-exclusive seed and the only way to get it is through Zen Seed Packs or Exotic Zen Seed Packs.
Start by collecting Tranquil fruit. You’ll need 12 Chi to purchase a Zen Seed Pack from the Zen Shop, located near the center of the island. The easiest way to get Tranquil fruit is by participating in the hourly Zen Aura events. These events make the fruit more accessible, helping you stock up on Chi without spending Robux.
Once you have 12 Chi, head to the Zen Shop and trade for a Zen Seed Pack. Your chances of pulling a Hinomai from this pack sit at 4.5%. If you’d rather spend Robux, Exotic Zen Seed Packs are available in the store:
- 1 Pack for 199 Robux
- 3 Packs for 575 Robux
- 10 Packs for 1,699 Robux
The drop rates remain the same in both types of packs, so your choice depends on whether you’re grinding Chi or buying in.

Why Hinomai Is Worth It
The base sell value of Hinomai is 80,000 Sheckles, which is already high compared to most crops. On top of that, it’s a multi-harvest plant. Once it’s planted, it will keep producing crops without the need for replanting. If you manage to get good mutations, the sell value can go even higher. This makes it one of the most efficient ways to earn Sheckles over time.
Keep in mind that you won’t be able to clone or find this plant through random game mechanics. It’s tied strictly to the Zen event, and that’s what makes it valuable. Once the event ends, there’s no guarantee it will return.
