Pets can also be obtained in their giant variation. However, they are extremely rare and depend on random chance. This article provides a guide on how to get giant pets in the game.
How To Get the Giant Variation in Grow a Garden Pets
The first thing you have to do is head over to the “Pet Egg Shop” (located next to the Gear Shop in the game). The stand refreshes every 30 minutes with eggs of varying rarities (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical).
Buy as many pet eggs as you can. If you are short on Sheckles, buy the common eggs—they are the cheapest and hatch the fastest. This means you can test your luck more often.
If the pet’s age is 1 and it already weighs 5.5 kilograms (minimum), that’s the one you want to hold on to. These pets have the most potential to grow into giants. Remember, this is purely based on random number generation (RNG), and there’s no way to guarantee or influence the outcome.
How To Feed Your Pet
Once you have found a pet that meets these criteria, you have to make sure to feed it consistently. The more they eat, the bigger they get. To feed the pet, interact with it by clicking or tapping on it in the garden or inventory. Select the option to feed (this may appear as a “Feed” button or prompt in the pet’s interaction menu).
Choose a crop from your inventory to feed the pet. Each pet requires crops to increase its age, and the amount or type of crop may depend on the pet’s rarity or level.
Over time, as they eat and age more, they will get larger and heavier.
Alternative Method
An alternative method to getting giant pets is by trading. It is the least time-consuming process and the easiest. However, trading also brings the risk of scammers, so be sure of who you are trading with.
