The Grow a Garden Halloween event titled Ghoul Garden is in full swing, with a brand new Ancient Jack O Lantern NPC that gives you rewards exclusive to the event. Not to be confused with the Jack O Lantern crop you can get from the Spooky Seeds shop, this NPC is a much bigger version that spawns occasionally on its own island at the center of the map. When it appears, you can submit items for various rewards.

How To Get Rewards
The Ancient Jack O Lantern NPC appears every two hours beside the Witch NPC and provides an alternative way to get Garden Ghoul items. Players can submit Halloween-themed crops by talking to the NPC. They will receive a random reward in exchange. To do so:
- Log in to Grow a Garden during the Halloween Garden Ghoul event that started on October 11.
- Check the center of the map to see if the Ancient Jack O Lantern has spawned. If not, a timer pops up on the island as shown in the photo above.
- Take any new Halloween-themed crop from your garden and equip it in your hands before talking to the NPC.
- Press E near the NPC and select the ‘Submit held item’
- If the plant is from the Garden Ghoul event, you will get appropriate rewards.
Jack O Lantern Reward Chances
This table explains the reward drop chances each time you submit any Halloween plant:
