Roblox Grow a Garden has introduced a new weather event called the Aurora Borealis. Let’s learn about it.

The Grow a Garden developers have rolled out yet another new and unique weather event. Weather events are temporary world events that change the sky and environment. These weather events usually bring some unique crop mutations specific to the weather. A new weather event called the Aurora Borealis has dropped in the game. Let’s find out more about it.
What Is the New Aurora Borealis Event in Grow a Garden?
The Aurora Borealis (or northern lights) appears as a random event similar to nights, storms, or blood moons that can occur during gameplay. The sky changes colors to purple and blue to indicate the new type of weather.
Mutation Effect (Aurora Mutation)
Like other weather events, this one also adds a mutation to your crop. The Aurora mutation can appear during the Aurora Borealis event, increasing your crop’s sell value by ×90.
Since the Aurora mutation significantly increases crop value, plant top-tier or high-base-value crops before the event to maximize profits. Employ Advanced or Godly Sprinklers to increase the chance of mutations, including Aurora, during the event.
Visual Effect

The Aurora mutation creates a beautiful visual effect on your crop, making it pulse softly between shades of blue and purple while releasing a faint, drifting smoke above it, giving it an ethereal, glowing presence in your garden.
How To Get The Aurora Borealis Weather Event
Unlike some games where events can be triggered with items or actions, the Aurora Borealis is entirely random and not influenced by player actions.
Join the game’s community (e.g., Discord or Roblox group) or check posts on X for player-reported sightings of the event to gauge its frequency.
