Getting some of them can give players a significant boost, with high-tier pets bringing some overpowered traits to the table. Grow a Garden Guide: Everything To Know About the Zen Egg

Ever since the Pet Update in May, Grow a Garden has had the egg system, which randomly gives players one pet from a designated pool. Each egg in the game has different chances for pets. Without further ado, here are the hatch chances for the Zen Egg. Naturally, the rarer the pet, the better its trait.

Shiba Inu	40%	Acts like a dog. Digs up a random seed every minute.
Nihonzaru	31%	If you have a hot spring in your garden, the Nihonzaru will bathe in it to boost other pets’ passives.
Tanuki	20.82%	Will do a random action every 10 minutes.
Tanchozuru	4.6%	Has a 5% chance to apply the Tranquil Mutation on plants in your garden.
Kappa	3.5%	Applies the Wet Mutation every 8 minutes. Plants that are already Wet can become Bloodlit.
Kitsune	0.08%	Acts like the Raccoon and duplicates another player’s fruit every 22 minutes. It can also mutate the fruit.

How To Obtain the Zen Egg in Grow a Garden

As of writing this, Grow a Garden does not have a premium version of the egg. And the only way to buy the standard one is through the Zen Shop for 30 Chi or 149 Robux. Zen Eggs can also drop as part of the Zen Channeller rewards. Chi is the new in-game currency introduced in the Zen Update. Participate in the event and exchange plants with the Tranquil Mutation at the event area. Follow these steps to buy the Zen Egg.

Interact with the Tanuki NPC in the Zen Event area at the center of the map.
Use the first prompt to open the Zen Shop.
The Zen Egg is the second option and costs 30 Chi.

The best way to farm Chi is to have high-tier plants in your garden and log in every hour during the Zen Aura weather event. This is when random plants in your garden will gain the Tranquil Mutation. Exchange them with the Tanuki NPC to get Chi. Alternatively, give the plant to the Zen Channeller and upgrade the Zen Tree. Each time you upgrade, the NPC will reward you with an assortment of gifts that can include the Zen Egg as well.
