Banana Eats is one of the featured games in the Halloween Spotlight event, along with Weird Gun Game, Build a Zoo, and The Mimic. And just like the other games, you can get a Rune and a Key if you complete both quests successfully. The goal is simple: you need to collect all the hidden pumpkins scattered around different maps, but it can take time if you don’t know where to look and what the pumpkins look like.

Halloween Spotlight Banana Eats Rune Guide
To get the Rune, you need to find 13 pumpkins. These pumpkins have black eyes, and they bounce, which makes them easy to spot. But the only issue here is that the pumpkins are not just in one map; you will have to play all the maps, including Banana Manor, Sinister Supermarket, Garbage Graveyard, and Banana Pop Parlor, to find all the pumpkins.
The best thing is your progress saves, so you don’t have to worry about finding the remaining if you leave the game.

Keep searching until you have gathered 31 Pumpkins, as the Rune progress carries over, so you will just need 18 more Pumpkins. Completing this challenge also rewards you with the exclusive Rotten-Deeri Pumpkin skin, which can be claimed in the Cursed Clearing hub.
Pumpkin Hunting Tips
- Before jumping into the game, make sure to check the lobby, as there are 2 pumpkins that you can collect, but once you pick the pumpkins up, they won’t respawn, even if you replay the same map.
- Even if you are the Seeker (Banana), you can still collect the pumpkins.
- Play a mix of maps and look carefully behind furniture, inside storage areas, and near fireplaces or kitchen setups. You’ll finish much faster if you team up with friends and share locations as you find them.
