Learn how to complete The Mimic Halloween Spotlight quests, including all pumpkin burn locations, Nightmare Circus stages, and rewards.
The Mimic is one of the toughest games featured in Roblox’s Halloween Spotlight event. It includes two main parts, Halloween Trials and Nightmare Circus, both set in creepy environments packed with puzzles, monsters, and time-limited objectives. Completing both challenges rewards players with event Runes and Keys, which are needed to progress further in the Spotlight hub.
In this guide we will tell you how to complete The Mimic challenges and get the rewards.
How To Complete Halloween Trials
When the event starts, you’ll see “HALLOWEEN TRIALS” appear on screen. Your first goal is to burn 3 pumpkins hidden inside the Asylum area.
- Objective: Burn 3 pumpkins to complete Part I and unlock Nightmare Circus.
- Tip: The monster in this stage hates music, so the Gramophone Room is your safe zone.
Step-by-step:
- Find Key I – From the Gramophone’s direction, head straight and enter the right room. Check under the bed. Use the key to open Safe I at the end of the hallway.
- Find Key II – Go right from the Gramophone. Enter the right-side room at the end of the corridor and look under the sink. Safe II is upstairs inside the Gramophone room.
- Find Key III – Go left from the Gramophone and check the room with the leaning metal table. Safe III is nearby on the same route.
- Burn the Pumpkins – Return to the Gramophone room and burn all three pumpkins to move to the next stage.
Monster Tip: Nagemi moves fast when it spots you. Stick close to the Gramophone room and memorize safe routes.
Once you are done with this stage, you will be rewarded with the Rune.
Nightmare Circus Walkthrough
After the pumpkins, you’ll enter the Nightmare Circus, which has three lives per player. Dying three times restarts the mode.
The Carnival
Meet Ronnie the Clown, who challenges you to a deadly game of tag. Your goal is to open 7 jack-in-the-boxes scattered around the circus without getting caught. You can hide under the stairs or in the bushes and carts to avoid Ronnie.
His footsteps are pretty loud, so you can easily avoid him.
Ringmaster’s Tent
After unlocking all boxes, make a run for the tent; you’ll face the Ringmaster, who challenges you to hide and seek. Your goal is to find 6 spade cards that are hidden around the circus interior. Each card contains part of a code you will need to escape. Find the cards and solve the puzzle. If you hear the ringmaster getting close, just hide under tables and cabinets.
Ringmaster’s Arena
This is the final round, and the most difficult one. The ringmaster attacks you; you need to dodge his AOE attacks while running for your life in the arena. You will get knives to damage him once he gets tired.
Tip: Dodge his attacks, wait for him to tire out, and strike.
Defeating him rewards you with a special Halloween lantern and badge depending on your mode.
