Heian is an action RPG in Roblox based on the famous Jujutsu Kaisen manga/anime. Starting out, you will receive a sword. After a little progress, players get various abilities inspired by the franchise, such as curse techniques. The Reverse Curse Technique, called RCT in-game, is an essential part of combat that allows you to heal. However, unlocking it can be a bit tricky.

Reverse Curse Technique Guide
Heian is currently in the Open Testing phase of development despite getting released in 2023. The game is very popular among fans, with over 12 million visits. Players looking to make the Reverse Curse Technique work may have tried to look for it in-game. However, if you open the Keybind section in Settings, you will only see that the button to trigger RCT Healing is G.
If you have tried pressing G and it did not trigger a heal, you have to unlock it. Follow these steps:
- The first step in unlocking the Reverse Curse Technique in Heian is to fill your Eureka Bar. This might be confusing as it is initially invisible.
- You can fill the Eureka Bar by dealing consecutive damage to an enemy. Bosses such as the Guardian Golem are ideal for this.
- Rainbow-colored sparkles will appear on your screen when the Eureka Bar is sufficiently full (50%). The stars will increase in number the more full the bar is.
- Players have to get knocked down for this step. You will trigger the first Reverse Technique Cutscene when you press G after getting knocked down.
- Repeat this at least once to unlock RCT.
- If you press G once more after getting down twice, the cutscene will play again and unlock Reverse Curse Technique.
Once RCT has been unlocked, a white bar will appear above the Stamina Bar on the bottom of your screen. See the image below for reference. When the bar is full, press G to heal yourself.
Heian RCT Tips and Tricks
- While you can trigger RCT while fighting any enemy, bosses are more suited due to their high health pool. Remember, you must get knocked down multiple times to trigger the cutscenes.
- Keep dealing damage and parrying to fill the Eureka Bar even if you see some sparkling stars on the screen. Overfilling the bar will help unlock the Reverse Curse Technique.
- Try to use RCT sporadically because it drains your curse energy.
- Players will need to unlock RCT if they want to get the Limitless Curse Technique in Heian.
