Getting the Ceramic Mutation

To get the Ceramic Mutation on one of your crops, it has to obtain a combination of Clay and one of the Cooked/ Burnt/ Sundried/ Molten/ Fried/ Meteoric/ Plasma Mutations. Ceramic Mutation will replace the combination of two mutations. Do note that if a crop has two or more of the Burnt, Cooked, Fried, Molten, Meteoric, Plasma, or Sundried mutations, it will only remove one. Without further ado, here is a detailed guide to obtaining it.

  • Clay Mutation: Clay is a combination of the Wet and Sandy Mutations.
    • Wet Mutation: One of the earliest crop mutations, Wet typically occurs during Rain or Thunderstorm weather events. It can also be triggered by specific sprinkler systems or even by the Sea Turtle pet, which occasionally splashes your crops. Visually, fruits and flowers affected by this mutation appear with dripping water droplets. It also adds a 2x multiplier to the crop.
    • Sandy Mutation: When a Sandstorm rolls through your garden, crops may develop this mutation, transforming their texture to a tan, dusty look and granting a 3x multiplier.

  • Cooked Mutation: Only the Cooked Owl Pet can apply this mutation, giving the crop a 10x Multiplier and an orange look.

  • Burnt Mutation: The Cooked Owl Pet can also apply Burnt. Befittingly, the crops look black with this mutation. It adds a 4x multiplier.

  • Sundried Mutation: This can trigger during the Heatwave weather event and applies an 85x multiplier to the crop.

  • Molten Mutation: Crops can get the Molten Mutation during the Volcano Admin event and get a 25x multiplier.

  • Fried Mutation: You can acquire it during the Fried Chicken Admin event.

  • Meteoric Mutation: During the Admin Meteor event, plants can acquire this mutation and get a 125x multiplier.

  • Plasma Mutation: Plants may get this during the Laser Storm Admin event.

Ceramic Mutation: Multiplier, Stats

Visually, the Ceramic Mutation is similar to Sundried but imparts a darker color to the crop. On application, it adds a 30x multiplier to the value of the crop. After it has been applied, you can reapply the mutations from the list, such as Molten, Sundried, Cooked, etc, further boosting the crop value.
