How To Get Dezen Seeds in Grow a Garden

Grow a Garden players now have access to Dezen Seeds as part of the ongoing Corrupted Event. Released on July 26, 2025, the update is the second half of the Zen event and continues the theme by adding pets and crops inspired by Japanese folklore. Dezen is one of the limited-time uncommon-tier crops obtainable during the Corrupted Zen event.

In this article, we will explain how to get the crop in Grow a Garden, along with all of its stats, such as the base and minimum price of the flower.

The second half of the Zen event saw the addition of six new plants in Grow a Garden. As mentioned, all of them are either directly or indirectly inspired by Japanese folklore. The Dezen plant is tied to the event and is a limited-time plant. Meaning, players looking to obtain it must do it while the event is active.

At the time of writing, the only way you can get it without spending Robux is to complete the Kitsune Quests and open the Kitsune Chest. This is a new quest chain featuring the Kitsune NPC at the center of the Zen event area. Upon completion of the quest, you will get a Kitsune Chest. Opening the chest has a 34.5% chance to drop a Dezen Seed.

Follow these steps to get the Kitsune Chest:

Launch Grow a Garden during the Corrupted Zen Event.
Submit an even number of Tranquil and Corrupt plants to the Kitsune NPC at the center of the map.
After reaching the desired number, you will get the Kitsune Chest in your inventory. Open it to get a random reward.

You may need to open multiple Kitsune Chests to get the Dezen Seeds. Try to log in at the top of every hour to maximize getting Tranquil and Corrupted plant mutations. Alternatively, you can buy the Exotic Kitsune Chest from the Limited Shop with Robux. There is a 34.5% of getting the Dezen Seed from the premium version of the chest.
