The Fall Market Event brings a new set of pets, gears, crops, and mutations to Grow a Garden. And players can now get the Fall mutation on their plants through a variety of means. What Is the Fall Mutation Value Modifier?
The Fall mutation is the event-specific mutation added to Grow a Garden with the Fall Market event that increases the affected crop’s value by 4x. On top of that, the crop also takes on a slightly orange hue. Orange particles can also be seen dripping from it.
How To Obtain the Fall Mutation on Crops
As of the current patch, there are three ways you can obtain the Fall mutation on one of your crops in Grow a Garden:
- Fall Bloom
- Grizzly Bear
- Fall Fountain
Fall Bloom
One of the primary ways to get the Fall mutation is by triggering Fall Bloom during the Fall Market Event. Every 30 minutes, the Harvest Spirit NPC in the event area will ask for a type of plant, such as Stalky, Flower, etc. Each player in the server can contribute to the Fall Bloom meter. The Fall Bloom will trigger when the meter fills up, i.e., reaches 500 points. Each plant in Grow a Garden has a different rarity. The higher the rarity, the more points it is worth.
Grizzly Bear
The Grizzly Bear is the only pet in Grow a Garden that occasionally applies the Fall mutation on nearby crops. The Grizzly Bear is a Legendary pet that players can hatch with a 10% chance from the Fall Egg. You can get the Fall Egg from the Fall Festival Pets Shop for 90 million Sheckles, or 149 Robux.

Fall Fountain
Another way to get the Fall mutation is by placing the Fall Fountain item in your garden. It is a Divine-tier item you can get from the Fall Cosmetic Shop in the event area. It can be a bit expensive, as it not only costs 1 billion Sheckles but also needs to be unlocked by contributing to Fall Bloom 10 times.
