Grow a Garden offers an array of weather events. These weather events bring along unique mutations for your plants. One of the newer weather events is called the Fried Chicken Weather Event. It is a special admin-triggered weather event (only triggered by the commands of the admins). Let’s learn more about it.
What Is the Fried Chicken Weather Event?
The Fried Chicken Weather Event, also known as Chicken Rain, is a special admin-triggered weather event (it does not occur randomly like standard weather events). During this event, a giant Cooked Owl appears behind the Crafting Stall or Gear and Pet Shop, and fried chicken rains from the sky, often accompanied by a yellow-orange sky. This event introduces the Fried Mutation to crops (8x multiplier).
How To Get the Fried Chicken Weather Event
Admins trigger the Fried Chicken Weather Event, so players cannot directly start or trigger it. However, you may follow these steps to maximize your chances of getting this event:
- The event is most likely to occur about 1-2 hours before the weekly game update. Stay active in the game during this period.
- Join the official Grow a Garden Discord Server or Trello to stay up to date with the updates and news.
- Plant a variety of crops, especially high-value ones like Gold Bone Blossom, before the event to maximize profits from the Fried Mutation.
What Mutations Does It Give?
Fried Chicken Weather Event will apply the Fried Mutation to your crops. This mutation will increase the value of your crop by 8x.
