Roblox Grow a Garden has released a new update called the Pet Mutations Update (July 12, 2025). The latest update sees a host of new content, including pets and plants. One of the new plants introduced is the Giant Pinecone. It is a Prismatic-tier, multi-harvest crop. This article will guide you on how you can obtain the Giant Pinecone in Grow a Garden.

Purchase from Sam’s Seed Shop

Cost: The Giant Pinecone seed costs 55,000,000 Sheckles or 929 Robux.
Availability: It has a very low 0.03% chance of appearing in the Seed Shop, which refreshes every 5 minutes. Due to its rarity, it may take hours or days to appear.

Use Pets to Obtain Seeds

Red Fox: Attempts to steal (duplicate) a seed from another user’s plot every ~8 minutes. If it successfully steals a seed it will try to steal another one.
Raccoon: Similar to the Red Fox, the Raccoon can duplicate a Giant Pinecone fruit from another player’s garden every 15 minutes. This requires another player on your server to have the plant.
Golden Lab: This pet has a 10% chance to dig up a random seed from the Seed Shop every 60 seconds, including the Giant Pinecone, though the odds of getting a Prismatic seed are extremely low.
Dog: Every 60 seconds, there’s a 5% chance that the Dog will dig up a random seed.

Lucky Harvest

When harvesting a Giant Pinecone plant, there’s a small chance to obtain an additional seed via the “Lucky Harvest” feature, especially if you have pets like the Snail that enhance this probability. This method requires you to own at least one Giant Pinecone seed already.

Since this crop is a multi-harvest plant, you can sell multiple fruits at once. It yields five fruits per harvest. Each fruit sells for 60,000 to 65,000 Sheckles. However, if you have applied any mutations, it will go for more.
