Grow a Garden recently released the limited-time Fairy Event (running until September 13, 2025). This update introduces new gameplay mechanics, exclusive rewards, and fairy-themed content, including new seeds. One of the new seeds in the game is the Glowthorn seed, which is a limited-time, multi-harvest, Legendary crop.
What Is the Glowthorn Seed in Grow a Garden?
The Glowthorn is an A-Tier plant valued for its decent base sell value of 35,000 Sheckles and its multi-harvest nature, which allows players to continuously harvest it without replanting. It’s particularly important for completing Fairy Favors and upgrading the Fairy Fountain.
How To Get the Glowthorn Seed in Grow a Garden
You can obtain the Glowthorn Seed in three ways:
Enchanted Seed Packs (25% Chance):
- Earned via Wishing Well wishes by completing Fairy Favors (daily tasks with specific plants, often Glimmering-mutated) or filling the Fountain Power meter with Glimmering crops.
- Wishing Well rewards vary by tier: Tier 1 offers the highest chance for a single pack; Tiers 4-5 may yield multiple packs but with lower per-pack odds.
- Each pack has a 25% chance to contain a Glowthorn seed.
Exotic Enchanted Seed Packs (25% Chance):
- Purchase in the shop with Robux (1 pack for 199 Robux, 3 for 575 Robux, 10 for 1,699 Robux).
- Also have a 25% chance for a Glowthorn seed.
Rainbow Sacks (25% Chance):
- Obtainable via event rewards or with Exotic Enchanted Seed Packs.
- Each sack has a 25% chance to yield a Glowthorn seed.
