The Grow a Garden developers have released a new update called Pet Mutations Event (12 July, 2025). The new update is an extension of the previous week’s Prehistoric Event. Like other updates, this one also introduces new plants. One of the new plants is the Grand Volcania. It is a Divine-tier, multi-harvest plant. Let’s find out how to get it.

Grow a Garden: Grand Volcania Guide

You can not directly purchase the Grand Volcania from any seed shop. You need to craft it. Here are the ingredients needed to craft the plant:

2x Ember Lily: Purchase these from the Seed Shop (run by Tom) for Sheckles. They are Prismatic-tier seeds, which are expensive and restock every 5 minutes, so check frequently or join the Grow a Garden Discord for stock notifications.ofzenandcomputing.com
1x Dinosaur Egg: Obtain through Prehistoric event quests, crafting via the Dino DNA Machine, or by completing specific tasks. These are rare, so prioritize saving them for Divine recipes like Grand Volcania.noleep.com
1x Ancient Seed Pack: Acquire through Prehistoric event quests or crafting. These are also rare, so focus on event participation to stock up.noleep.com
900,000 Sheckles: Ensure you have a surplus of in-game currency, as this is a significant investment. Earn Sheckles by selling crops or completing daily quests.

How To Craft

Once you have gathered the ingredients, here’s what you need to do:

Go to the Crafting Station and access the Crafting Menu. Press the “E” key to open the seed crafting station. Scroll through the list of craftable seeds and choose Grand Volcania.

Equip the required items (2x Ember Lily, 1x Dinosaur Egg, 1x Ancient Seed Pack) in your hand and submit them by pressing ‘E’. Use 900,000 Sheckles to start the crafting process.

The crafting takes 45 minutes. Once the Crafting Process is over, you can press “E” to collect your seed.

Alternative Method

If you don’t want to grind for the Grand Volcania, you can use your pets to get one. If you have a Red Fox or Raccoon pet, they can fetch it from you by stealing it from another player’s garden.

Grand Volcania Selling Price

It is a multi-harvest plant, meaning it can be quite a profitable investment for your garden. A standard Grand Volcania fruit sells for approximately 68,000 Sheckles per fruit. If you have applied any Mutations on it, it will go for more.
